SPEECH-LANGUAGE THERAPY EVALUATIONS

Evaluations are booked for 60 minutes.  Evaluations include parent interview, case history, medical history, structured observations, oral mechanism exams, formal and informal assessment.   For young children, the assessment is highly play-based; however, during the evaluation the Speech-Language Pathologist will be able to gather enough information to create a differential diagnosis that will help guide therapy and the creation of an individualized care plan.  After the evaluation a written report and care plan will be shared and reviewed with family.
