We believe in a strengths based method to teaching and aim to support not only the child but also the families we serve. We provide comprehensive and individualized care to our patients using evidenced based practices
and we continue to invest in our learning through continuing education and team collaboration.
Kristin Weingart, MS CCC-SLP

Clinical Interests
Kristin has experience working with children birth - 21 years of age with severe to profound disabilities. She specializes in Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC), Autism, and Language Development and is passionate about using your child's interests and daily routines to help them communicate. Kristin uses Evidence-Based therapy approaches and emphasizes the importance of caregiver involvement to best support the whole child as they learn to communicate.

Clinical Interests
Nia’s main clinical interests include feeding, dysphagia, voice and upper airway disorders, neurogenic communication disorders, and expressive language delays. Nia is passionate about expanding her clinical knowledge and conducting research to better serve patients. Throughout her clinical rotations, she gained experience with a wide variety of disorders across the lifespan.

Brielle is a part of the team at Communication Cottage Therapy and will start in August.
Clinical Interests
Brielle has clinical experience with birth to 21 year olds. Throughout her clinical internships she gained a wide variety of experience in many settings including private practice, school systems, outpatient settings, and the UNCG Speech and Hearing Clinic. Her clinical interests include articulation disorders, play-based therapy, receptive/expressive language disorders, and fluency disorders. She has a passion for providing therapy in your child’s natural environment, providing parent education and encouraging parent involvement during therapy sessions to maximize communication and progress.
Hobbies:
Brielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, snuggling with her dog named Walker, and relaxing on the beach.

Anyssa’s main clinical interests include voice, articulation disorders, play-based therapy, and expressive/receptive language. Anyssa has a passion for working with diverse populations and addressing and meeting the sociocultural needs of their clients. Anyssa has had various opportunities to collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to best supports each clients individual needs and is looking forward to working with/meeting your little one!
Hobbies:
Anyssa enjoys kayaking, hiking, spending time with friends/family, and doing puzzle books
